On Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the question is not how the day went. It is how it is going. A top seller can run out of stock, a deal can fail to show, or a listing can be suppressed while you wait for a report. Live Orders Stream lets you watch today's orders as they land, while there is still time to act.

Tracked live here from the first minute: every order as it lands, the figures and the curve against Black Friday 2025.
The window for a useful decision is hours, not the next morning. You need a view of the pace, a comparison that means something, and a clear boundary between what Amazon has confirmed and what is still an estimate. Here is how I would run that screen through Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
A report is a picture assembled after orders have happened. An order notification is a message Amazon pushes when an order changes. On the report-based path Nova used before, an order showed up 40 to 100 minutes after the order. The stream does not wait for that report-based path.
The guide to a real-time Amazon sales dashboard explains what a live screen shows on ordinary days and why order counts arrive before confirmed prices.
Amazon pushes an ORDER_CHANGE notification for every order change. It reaches Nova about 6 seconds after the change, and the Live Stream page shows the order about 20 seconds after it was placed. Orders and units are Amazon's own counts, available within seconds rather than at the next report review.
That is what real-time Amazon orders means in practice: the count moves while the event is still running.
The notification includes the order ID, marketplace, status, purchase date, fulfillment type and programs such as Business. Item details include SKU, quantity, quantity shipped and item status. It carries no ASIN and no price. Knowing an order landed is not the same as knowing its final sales amount.
Amazon's documentation makes that pricing boundary explicit: when an order is Pending, its order-items response does not return pricing, taxes, shipping charges or promotions. Amazon's Orders API documentation describes which fields become available after payment authorization.
Nova estimates live sales at the SKU's usual price until Amazon's order report confirms the amount within the hour. Use the Amazon data refresh times reference for the other feeds. A live order does not make fees or ad spend live.
A Thursday before Thanksgiving tells you little about Black Friday. The audience, offers and buying rhythm are different. Comparing Friday afternoon with Thursday's full day gives you a large number and no useful answer about whether the event is on pace.
Compare each checkpoint with the same minute of the previous edition. At lunchtime, ask how this event has progressed by lunchtime, not whether it has beaten last year's finished day. Keep the reporting clock consistent so an apparent gap is not simply a different midnight boundary.
Nova's event mode follows Black Friday 2026 from Friday, November 27 through Monday, November 30 against Black Friday 2025. Before it starts, the page shows a countdown. Those are the calendar Black Friday and Cyber Monday dates, also listed in the November 2026 calendar. Amazon announces its deal window separately; do not treat the countdown as a promotion announcement.
Outside events, a typical day is the average of the last four same weekdays at the same time, with event days left out. That is the comparison shown in the illustrative screen above. During the event, switch to the previous edition instead.
Live sales are valued at your usual price. If a product is selling on a discounted deal, the live amount can read high until Amazon's report confirms the deal price, within the hour. A rising sales curve can therefore overstate what those orders will actually bring in.
This is an estimate, not extra revenue. On event days, steer by orders and units in real time. Read sales once confirmed. Do not calculate the return on a discount from the live amount while the usual price is still being used.
Keep that distinction in team updates, too. Say whether you are reporting units, estimated sales or confirmed sales. Otherwise the next report looks like a reversal when it is just the price being corrected.
Before the first deal starts, tell whoever is watching the screen which products have a discount. When an estimated total looks unexpectedly strong, check whether the order mix has shifted toward those products. You can have more units and a lower price per unit at the same time. The stream shows the first part immediately; confirmation resolves the second.
A live Amazon sales tracker is only useful if you check the same four things every hour.
The pace. Read orders, units and sales against last year's event at the same minute. Start with orders and units; treat sales as provisional. If the pace changes, note when it changed before deciding what caused it. One checkpoint is a prompt to investigate, not a verdict on the whole event.
Inventory and Listing Health are the next checks when a top seller falls behind its usual pace. Look for stock availability, a suppressed listing or a deal that is not visible. A ranking tells you where to look; it does not tell you the cause. Check the product before changing the offer.
Marketplace by marketplace. If you sell in several marketplaces, inspect them separately before explaining the total. A problem in one market can disappear inside an account-wide view. Keep the reporting day in mind, particularly when one marketplace is working through a different part of its day.
Cancellations. The stream sees status changes, not just new orders. Watch for cancellations and check the affected orders rather than assuming every order that first appeared will become a completed sale. Do not count a changed status as a second purchase.
Agree who checks each problem before the event. If the pace falls, one person can inspect stock and listings while another checks whether the offer is visible. Write the time of the check and what you found. That prevents the team from making several changes at once and then having no idea which problem was real.
Ad spend refreshes every 2 hours in Nova's PPC dashboards. Live PPC spend and TACOS are coming soon. A sales spike on the live curve does not tell you what ads spent in that same minute.
Fees, promotions, taxes and refunds arrive with Amazon's reports. Leave the full margin judgment for confirmed data. The stream is for reading the day while it runs, not for pretending the entire P&L is already settled.
The next morning, bring those notes to the confirmed sales review. Separate a change you made from an explanation you have actually checked. If a product recovered after a listing fix, record the sequence without assuming every later order came from that fix. The goal is a useful operating record for the next event, not a story that makes every decision look right.
Yes. Nova's Live Orders Stream shows orders and units about 20 seconds after the order, with a feed and a running curve. Sales are estimated at the SKU's usual price until Amazon's order report confirms the amount within the hour.
Live sales use your usual price before Amazon confirms the order amount. A discounted deal can therefore read high. Seller Central and Nova's confirmed reports can also follow different reporting clocks. Compare the same time zone and read confirmed amounts before judging revenue.
Black Friday is November 27, 2026; Cyber Monday is November 30. Amazon announces its deal window separately. Those calendar dates describe the holidays and Nova's event comparison, not an announced start or end for Amazon's promotions.
Use Nova's Black Friday event mode. It follows Friday, November 27 through Monday, November 30, including Cyber Monday, against the previous edition. Before the event starts, it shows a countdown. Orders and units arrive live; sales remain estimated until confirmed.
For the preparation and post-event margin review, the Amazon Prime Day profit playbook covers choosing products and checking what the event actually earned. Keep that work separate from the live screen.
