How do you connect Amazon Ads to Nova?

You connect Amazon Ads per account, right after Seller Central or later, by signing in with the Amazon login that manages its campaigns. Nova checks that this login can see the account's advertising, then loads its ad history and finds its DSP advertisers. Without the Ads connection, Nova still reads sales, fees and stock, but the P&L carries no advertising cost.

Where do you connect it?

  • During setup: the Advertising Integration step, with Connect or Skip.
  • Later: Settings, Organization, Amazon connections. Open the account's menu and choose Connect Amazon Ads.

Only an Admin of the organization can connect or re-authorize Ads.

Which login should you use?

The Amazon login that manages the account's advertising campaigns, signed in on your browser. Amazon sends you to the sign-in page of the account's region:

RegionAmazon sign-in
North Americawww.amazon.com
Europeeu.account.amazon.com
Far Eastapac.account.amazon.com

Amazon asks you to grant the Amazon Ads API permission, advertising::campaign_management. It is the only permission the Ads API offers. Nova uses it to read: it has no feature that changes your bids, budgets or campaigns.

Nova then lists the Ads profiles your login can see, in all three regions. If none belongs to the account you are connecting, the connection is refused with the accounts your login does see, and your previous connection, if any, is kept. Sign in with the right login and try again. For a Vendor Central account, see Connect Vendor Central.

Does one login cover several accounts?

Yes. If the same login also sees other Seller Central accounts of your organization that have no Ads connection yet, Nova attaches it to them too. An account that already has its own Ads connection keeps it. The account's View details panel shows which login it uses and the Profiles Nova reads.

What does Nova read?

Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display reports by campaign, target, search term, placement and product, today's spend through Amazon Marketing Stream, budget usage and impression share. See PPC data.

At connection, Nova loads 2 months of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Display and search terms, and the 60 days Amazon keeps for Sponsored Brands. See History depth.

How does Nova find DSP?

Through the same Ads connection. Nova lists the DSP advertisers your login can see and links each one to your account. There is nothing more to connect. See Amazon DSP.

What if the Ads connection is missing or broken?

Sales, fees, stock and listings keep flowing in every case: only advertising stops. The account card shows the problem and the fix:
