What does Nova read from a Vendor Central account?

For a Vendor Central account, Nova reads Amazon's retail analytics, the vendor reports, and the vendor APIs for purchase orders, shipments, invoices and payments, plus your catalogue, listings and ads. Analytics settle about two days after the day; real-time reports cover today and yesterday hour by hour. History goes back two years, on a trial as on a paid plan.

The daily vendor sales report checks the analytics. Real-time inventory, promotion and coupon reports are collected but not shown yet.

Sourcing or Manufacturing view?

Sourcing covers the products Amazon bought from you, whatever the brand: it ties to your invoices, so the P&L reads it. Manufacturing covers your brand's products, whoever supplied them: ordered units and traffic exist only there. Nova reads both, and re-reads the last three months of Manufacturing every month because Amazon restates it.

What about today and yesterday?

A Sourcing day is final about two days later. Until then, the real-time reports fill it: ordered units net of cancellations, at retail price, with shipped COGS estimated from the product's recent rate. These days are marked provisional. Net received arrives two to three days after the day; later days show as a gap, never a zero.

Which marketplaces and currencies?

Amazon binds a Vendor Central account to one marketplace, in North America, Europe or the Far East. Nova finds it from Amazon's answer when you connect.

Analytics come in the marketplace's currency; purchase orders, invoices and payments in your agreement's currency, which can differ. Nova converts each amount to your workspace currency at the rate of its day: invoices at the invoice date, deductions at the payment date. See Currencies.

What is not available for Vendor Central?

  • Listing edits: Nova writes listings through Seller Central only and refuses a Vendor Central account.
  • DSP cost in the 1P P&L: DSP spend linked to a vendor account stays out of its P&L.
  • Sponsored Brands spend in the 1P P&L: not read for vendor rows yet.
  • Today's ad spend, budget usage, keyword impression share: these come from Amazon Marketing Stream and reports Nova runs for Seller Central accounts only.
  • Reviews and Search Query Performance: Amazon refuses them to a vendor account.
  • Sources that exist only for sellers: FBA and AWD inventory, inbound shipments, Amazon fees and reimbursements, Subscribe & Save.
  • VAT: Nova takes no VAT out of a 1P line; the tax on your invoices is kept apart.

Ask your AI

For my Vendor Central account, which day is the last one Amazon has settled, and how many units did Amazon receive from me last week?
  • The 1P P&LHow the 1P P&L starts from Amazon's net received, what it takes off down to net profit, how units are counted, and how Nova's names map to Vendor Central's.
  • Remittances and deductionsWhat a vendor remittance is, how Nova reads and classifies each line, and where co-op, chargebacks, claims and other deductions land in your 1P P&L.
  • Refresh timesWhen each Amazon data source reaches Nova, from live orders in seconds to monthly storage fees, and why recent days can still change.
